AISIN Europe announces new Vehicle Body Systems manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic

AISIN Europe today announced the construction of a new Vehicle Body Systems manufacturing plant in Chotoviny, near Tábor, Czech Republic, representing a major investment in the company’s European growth strategy and long-term commitment to its customers. The new facility will further strengthen AISIN Europe’s manufacturing network and expand its ability to support customers across Europe with locally produced, high-quality mobility solutions.

The new facility, which will produce Vehicle Body Systems, is scheduled to start production in 2028 and will operate under the existing legal entity AISIN Europe Manufacturing Czech s.r.o., headquartered in Písek.

This investment marks a significant step in AISIN Europe’s growth strategy and demonstrates the company’s confidence in the long-term development of the European automotive industry. By expanding its local production capacity, AISIN Europe is strengthening its ability to support current and future customer programs while enhancing flexibility, responsiveness, and supply-chain resilience. The new plant will leverage advanced manufacturing technologies and operational best practices to deliver the high levels of quality, efficiency, and innovation expected by Europe’s leading vehicle manufacturers. The facility will play a key role in supporting AISIN Europe’s ambition to drive the future of mobility through locally produced, high-value Vehicle Body Systems solutions.

Construction of the facility started in August 2026, with production scheduled to begin in 2028. Additional details regarding the project will be announced as development progresses.
