AISIN champions road safety education through Pisek's children's traffic playground renovation
Písek, Czech Republic – September 5, 2025
AISIN Europe Manufacturing Czech, s.r.o., a regional subsidiary of AISIN Europe and part of the global AISIN Corporation, has recently contributed CZK 3.5 million to the city of Písek for the renovation of the children’s traffic playground. This initiative, which aligns with AISIN’s dedication to community well-being and educational outreach, marks a meaningful investment in the future of road safety education.
The playground, acquired by the city in 2023 after years of disuse, is undergoing full modernization. Once completed, it will resume mandatory traffic education for fourth-grade students, offering a safe and engaging space where children can learn the rules of the road through hands-on experience. The facility will also be open to the public, reinforcing its role as a community hub for learning and recreation.
“We operate in the automotive industry, so transportation and road safety are key topics close to us,” said Zdeněk Rataj, Vice President of AISIN Europe Manufacturing Czech. “We want children to develop the right habits that could one day save their lives. That’s why we decided to support this meaningful project.”
A Shared Commitment to Safer Communities
AISIN’s support, covering a significant portion of the CZK 10.5 million renovation cost, reflects the company’s belief in the power of education and its responsibility to contribute to safer communities.
Mayor of Písek, Michal Čapek praised the partnership, noting that AISIN’s involvement demonstrates a genuine commitment to the region’s social fabric. “AISIN’s contribution is not only financial—it’s a signal of shared values and a commitment to the well-being of our children,” he said. “We hope this collaboration inspires other companies to engage with the community in similarly impactful ways.”
