AISIN Opens a Solar Power Generation Facility in Türkiye

AISIN OTOMOTIV PARCALARI SANAYI VE TICARET A.S. (Istanbul), the Turkiye-based manufacturing subsidiary of AISIN CORPORATION, constructed a solar power generation facility and will hold an opening ceremony on May 22, 2025. With the commencement of power generation at this facility, all the production bases in Europe, including Türkiye, are 100% powered by renewable energy.

In Europe, AISIN is committed to reach carbon neutrality by 2040, ahead of the goal of the AISIN Group. The first step to reach this goal has been the introduction of solar and wind power generation, to make all the production bases 100% powered by renewable energy by 2025.
The introduction of solar power generation in Türkiye is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by about 4,200 tons per year. Energy conservation activities and effective use of electricity will be further promoted to accelerate the initiative toward carbon neutrality.

Roadmap toward carbon neutrality in Europe

AISIN has set “To the future, a sustainable environment” as one of the values it offers to society and stakeholders. The AISIN Group will continue to advance the initiative throughout the supply chain to achieve carbon neutrality.
